Do you believe in Premonitions or do you think it is all just coincidental

I remember walking home from school one day and suddenly being struck with an over whelming feeling that something was very wrong ,when I arrived home I found my grandmother, who was on her own ,laying on the floor in pain ,she had fractured the neck of her femur and just a few weeks later we lost her.
Another time I was at work when I just felt that something had happened to my daughter, I phoned home and found out although she had not told her dad she had hurt/broken her hand..
However on other occasions I have also thought something felt wrong and it turned out to be no more than my over active imagination.
Have you had anything like this happened?
Do you believe in premonitions or do you think we just read too much into these situations and it is all just coincidental.

I seem to always get a premonition when something bad is going to happen at work. I'll wake up in the morning with a feeling of dread, and then I know something is going to go wrong at work. And most times I am right. It's really weird to have a feeling like that and then it ends up being true.

@shebish But the weird thing is, it only happens for work situations. I don't usually have any premonitions for things happening in my off-work time.

I believe we do have
premonitions at times! I've never
had ones like that though! Most
of mine have been dreams that
have meant nothing at the time.
Afew week or so later I'll find myself in
the situation and realise that I had
dreamt it beforehand!
It's never anything hugely exciting
though and there's nothing I could
have done to change any of it. Sadly
no lottery numbers either

I would say that there are many things for which there is no logical explanations but they happen
