Playing the Sims

I don´t play the sims, I guess I would be addicted to that game!

i have never played sims. i hear that it is great though

I do that all the time. I could play the Sims for many hours in a day and then not play for a while. It is the most enjoyable and most addicting PC game that I have ever played. I can pick up with the family I was using or switch off to another family.

i was really into the sims when i was pregnant and couldnt sleep for some reason, but i havent gone back to it in about a year and a half, not sure if ill ever get into it again or not, i end up playing on pogo now if i want to play games.

Yes, I can play for hours at a time, then I lose interest for a little while. I have made so many families that I lost count. Sometimes I can play the families I already made but other times I just start a new one. Are you talking about the original or sims2? I have both but I never play the original anymore.

I love playing the Sims... I can definitely play the game for hours one day and not play it for a week.... I usually stick with one family when I play... it's easier for me.

When Sims Online was in the Beta version, I was a tester. I was could not get off of it. When I had to do things, I would just pause my person. LOL But then I hit a glitch and lost my person. There was no way I wanted to build another person all over again. So I stopped playing. Some time after that, they came out with Sims Making Magic. I had to have it! I played and played for hours. Got my person and dragon exactly the way I wanted and them BOOM! I was bored with it. I have not picked up Sims since.

Hey, I feel exactly the same way as you described when I play Sims 2. One moment I can be totally addicted to playing with the families, and all the addons, the next moment, I hardly touch it anymore. I usually start with a new family. :D

That is the way I play. It has been a while since I have played it, and now that you have posted that, I am pretty sure that I will start playing it again soon. Thanks a lot! LOL

I've tried to get into it a few different times, but just really couldn't understand the appeal of it, got too frustrating.

I was just thinking about the SIms last night and how long it's been since I last played *laugh* I do go through periods where I play it endlessly and then don't touch it for months. But I usually feel the need to start over with a new family when I do pick the game back up. It feels a bit strange to try to go back to where I left off after such a long time. The Sims is definitely one of my all time favorite games! ^_^ I love watching human behavior, so simulated human behavior is almost as good! *laugh* Especially when I can add my own elements into the mix and see what happens! ^_~

I do that quite often. Not proud of it, but hey,lol. I love The Sims but I don't always get the time to sit down and play. When I have a free moment, I'll sit down and play and those times are the times when I can devote hours to playing without having to stop to accomplish other tasks.
