Where are you to see the sunrise?

A friend of mine asked that question last night when I told him I wanted to sleep early to watch the sunrise in the morning. What he meant is that I must have been on a vacation or somewhere novel to have an urge to do such activity. The truth is I was just at home and wanted to enjoy my neighborhood at dawn. No, my place is not a beautiful countryside but a bustling polluted city with more than 9 million dwellers. So I can see where he was coming from. However, the sun rises everywhere on this Earth. It comes to me that people hardly see beauty around them nowadays. It is truly all around us. While it is awesome to go on trips and be on the move, I want to state that it is also great to stay still, observe where you are and appreciate small little things in life.
