How many times have you been abused in message boards,fora(forums)?

I've been involved in various forums through the years and the worst abusers I've encountered have been in gamers forums and believe it or not, Christian forums. In regards to the latter, it is astounding to me how very crude and intolerant people tend to be on the Christian forums, talk about something totally unexpected.

I have a couple times

Only a few times over the years. If I'm respectful to other people, generally they're they same in return. Also I don' t delve into hot-button political/social issues, so that doens't attract flames. BUT... some people are just cranky or like to argue or insult people, you just have to not take their comments too seriously.

So far so good. Never have been abused by anybody else. I'm just the shy type. I don't have many friends in the internet world. So I'm kinda safe doing my own thing.

Rarely. Though there have been some heated political and religious debates that I have encountered where everyone seemed to get burned.
