Welcome to Mylot! I am a mom to 5 children. 11, 9, 8, 15 months and 3 months. =) 3 boys and 2 girls. I also Home School my 3 older kids. I think God makes it seem like a blur so we can have more children in the future. If we remember just how hard it is we probably would never do it again. With time though we seem to remember the pain but not remember exactly how painful it is. I had all of mine naturally.

@blitzfrick I'm sorry for what you went through. I didn't have it easy with my 4th child either. I went naturally and had no doctor or nurse whatsoever. They were all too busy and didn't believe I was going to be having him that soon. I did it all on my own and I ripped so badly that I needed 20 stitches after he was born. It was not easy at all. I really don't think your last sentence to me was very nice but I hope you have a wonderful day. =)

@LovingMyBabies I was in labor for 24 hours with my son (he's 54 now) and I remember every bit of the pain. I ended up having him and his younger sister by C-section. I guess God was too busy helping you to notice the hell I was going through.

Hello. Welcome to myLot. I am a mum of two. Two boys. On here, I refer to them as Midi and Mini. Midi is 17 and Mini will be 12 in a couple of weeks. I don't exactly remember labour but I know some bits of what happened! I had gas and air with both. I also used a TENS machine with the first, and I had a paracetamol with the second because the midwives didn't believe I was in labour. I remember bits. For most of their lives, I was mostly with them all the time although I took on various odd jobs here and there. When Mini started nursery, I began a career in childcare and education but, after about 12 years in the same place, was made redundant. I did continue working through agencies but I had never really wanted to work with children, it just fitted in with my own. Now, I am a personal assistant/carer/slave (!) for a woman who is partially sighted (well, I say that but I'm not the only one who believes she can see better than she claims). I'm also a writer, journalist, and home educator. I've been tutoring in maths and English since last year. I've always been a writer, though, and now that's what I am doing mostly. Working on articles and writing a book.

I am a mother to a 17 year old girl.. she is my stepdaughter, I can't have kids of my own so I will never get to feel what it is like to have labor pains.. but that don't stop me from loving her as she is my own.
