Well, this is in response to the comment of @MALUSE
What is Pancit?
It's a Filipino food, a noodle. It is usually served during birthdays for long life.. according to tradition just like what Chinese believed. It has a lot of varieties you can choose from.
We sometimes use the word "Pancit" as an extension like "This is it".
Why?
Because they sound alike

I know what pancit is
! My daughter's friend's grandma makes this anytime they have a gathering . . . she knows this is one of our favorites cooked by her, so she makes it a point to make some for us. She told us all to call her Nanay . . . because the other grandma is Lola and this was so no one confuses the two
.

I know what is pancit! This is very delicious! They say if you eat pancit, you will have a long life haha
