I loved the color of these orange azaleas when I first saw them. There aren't too many around here in this color. With pink purple and white being far more common.
This is the 2nd spring its made it to after we planted it ..2 others have died. This year it has throat blooms so far. I have a purple one I planted last year but it did not bloom at all ![](/Content/images/emotes/sad.gif)
So I was happy to notice these pretty blossoms.
How does your garden grow?

This is very pretty. Love the combo of color. My garden doesn't grow anymore. I have given that up sadly but do enjoy the flowers my daughter brings me from around the area.

those flowers look like hibiscus.
well, i don't touch any of the plants in our garden, they might wither and die.
strange, i can give nursing care to the sick but i cannot grow a plant. ![](/Content/images/emotes/w00t.gif)

@minx267 yes i believe so, my friend. the only plant that i can tend is the ladyfingers or okra, which needs less human touch and less water as well.
but my whole hands are cool to handle sick people.

They have a similar looking flower but that plants aren't in the same family. I believe Azaleas are more closely related to Rhododendrons. Azalea bushes being much smaller than Rhododendrons which can grow quite tall.
My neighbor at the other end of my street has many many Hibiscus bushes in his yard. I often go over there just to photograph them!
