I talk to my dog all the time and my boyfriend thinks im a crazy person, but my dog listens and knows what i say. When i say cookie he most likely knows what i say LOL.

@Hannihar Some people think it's weird to talk to animals but apparently it's healthy for some animals to hear their owners. They may not always understand but it's still interaction. I talk to my cat and dog all the time. I give them compliments even though they have no idea what I am saying. Also tell them that I love them a lot.

I believe Sophie understands me when I talk to her. Those that do not have animals or understand why others do do find it weird when we talk to ours.
