Egg Donation...

What do you think about egg donation? I have been concidering this for quite some time now and I think I am finally ready to start the process. I have two children of my own already and I think it would be great to be able to give another couple that gift of life that I have been blessed with twice already. I was thinking about surrogacy as well, but I am not done having kids of my own and I want to wait until I am finished building my family. So I think egg donation is a good alternative to surrogacy. I have so many eggs and I am not going to have that many babies. So I might as well share them with those couples who are less than fortunate with their fertility. What do you think?

I don't know how old you are :) I am now 32, and done having kids. My husband has been "snipped", so I too have a bunch of eggs wasting away in my body. LOL The money sounds nice, but I'm not sure about the taking hormones bit.. although I don't know the full extent of how it all works. And most of the places I've looked say that you can't be more than 29 or 30 years old. Which means I'm OLD. Sigh. :) I think the idea of helping people is wonderful. I might feel weird knowing that a part of me is out there somewhere, though. Something to consider.
