I finally had my first sale of a photo on EyeEm.
Very excited. Hoping more will soon follow.
I don't know why I'm so excited. I have sold my photos and designs from them before on Zazzle and Society6.
People have even bought them as canvases and framed.
But this was my first thru Getty images.. And I guess I feel like a real photographer... Almost. Lol
This cute little woodchuck/ gopher is the image I sold.

wow, good picture of that burrowing animal. so, that is a woodchuck.
i remember, we had a tongue-twister when we studied English in our freshman college year.
"if a woodchuck would chuck wood, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck?"

Awesome! Thanks for introducing me to EyeEm 2 years ago. I just sold three photos through them on Getty yesterday.

@minx267 Congratulations!
Did you also contemplate to close your Shutterstock account like many others? I only had three photos up when they announced their new payment strategy and most photographers tried to stop it by boycotting them. I have deleted those 3 images, never expected to sell any anyway. I am quite happy with EyeEm/Getty.

Thank you.. Yes it is fun, I have sold other things on Zazzle and Society 6 and a few other places...
Things I make using my photos and Designs I make from my photos..
Put this was the first time I sold just the right to use my image.. very cool knowing someone liked it enough to use it.
Yes, Getty is a big name. I have read some people say you should just deal with them directly.. but I tried a photo selling service years ago and they kept rejecting what i sent.. I didn't like that..
So thru EyeEm.. they look thru your stuff put the good stuff on their market place and select really good stuff to be put on to Getty.. it seems straight forward enough.
