What Mom Doesn't Know- Part 3 This is the last story I want to share about my kids . At least for now. It's taken me awhile to adjust to the fact that my children are really grown up. I'm realizing too how my relationship with them has changed over the past 10 years. Necessarily so. And I'm truly enjoying it! My daughter still sees her best childhood friend regularly. I consider that young lady to be my "other" daughter. When we all get together occasionally, the girls sometimes reminisce about when they were teenagers. "Hey remember that time when were 16 and I spent the night at your house? We snuck out and met those boys downtown..." Me: "You did WHAT?!! That's IT! You're grounded!" Ha! Oh yeah. You're 26 years old, married with two children. I suppose it's too late now. But I'm really angry with you about that!! Just so you know!" They just laugh at me. "Oh Mom!" Then they confess more of their rebellious adventures.

Hahaha we used to do that regularly at family meals when we'd left home! We'd start telling the stories our parents either didn't know or the true versions of the stories they thought they knew!
