How many of you have lost a pet that you loved so much and even though you love your present pets you still miss you lost ones?

My dog got sick and died and I was lucky I still had my cat, but, I still missed my dog so much and then when I cat died that was it till I decided to get another cat. I still miss them very much. I loved them with all my heart. Sophie is very different from my other cat. My other cat was found by my ex-husband when she was 13 weeks old. She was so little and a little fur ball. She was adorable and grew into a beautiful cat. Sophie is very beautiful and can be so sweet, except when she bites and grabs.

Yes, I lost my 2 dogs and I still miss them, even now I have 2 new dogs and cats...

TT, So so sorry about your loss of your two dogs. It is very very hard. One never forgets their family.

@Hannihar That's ok. They have been gone for more than 10 years now... but they are still in my heart.. So when did your dog and cat die?

I used to think that my cat before Sophie even though she was a girl that my grandfather was inside her, but, we do not believe in reincarnation. I believe when our Mashiach finally comes that my animals and grandparents will come back to me.

I buried my dog somewhere, but, cannot find her now. My cat there was no place to bury her so I can visit so she went to a city I cannot visit her in. I was not happy. Thank you Valerie for understanding why I will not abandon her. I just now reread what you said Valerie about your dog being with you over 20 years. Isn't that a lot? I didn't think dogs lived that long.
