Giving out our own truth to the World. Being our own point.

Elvis had his own point of truth through which he lived and loved. We all have such a point too.

Loving God brings not rewards, but truth. We all have this truth within us, and loving God, helps us to bring it out of ourselves, and to share it with the World. I believe that even someone such as Elvis Presley gave away his own truth as much as he could through his putting his heart into his songs, and yet at times he too got down at, and couldn't see the point in life either, except through his songs. Here is how Elvis described once, the moment before he hit the stage: "They start the intro, rush me out and I’m on fire as I step on the stage. God, the lights flash like a million fireflies in some giant fruit jar. The noise is a roar, solid. It lifts me out of my fears and I fill with love for them. I feel their love for me, hot, syrupy, flowing over and through me - I love the feeling. Lord, so good, so good. I sing. My life, my heart, my dreams, my hopes - everything in me, everything that I am comes pouring out, answering their love. They understand; they love me and share the night in one fantastic love affair. Inside, my soul soars, light fills me, blinding, brilliant, filling me until I can barely hear myself in the din, but I know this feeling. So good, so pure, so right for me, for them." We all have something like that that we can see the point through. Our point. Find your song, or writing, or whatever, and let the point, your point, come through to you, just as much, and as often, as it can do so. Keep writing, keep singing, keep doing what you do best. That is your truth! That is your point! Elvis had his own point of truth through which he lived and loved. We all have such a point too. Live from your own point of truth.

Yes, many people do not know much about Elvis's spiritual side. He was a seeker after truth for all of his life.

We should never lose our zest for life even for a day; though we can pause but still hear the song of life inside us. Even Elvis felt an emptiness when off stage though he was fire on it invigorating the crowd - the encouragement and vibes fed on each other rising them beyond mere existence. To find meaning in life is even beyond our idols despite their fame and fortune; but we should keep pegging away so that we do not lose our moorings - siva

@innertalks All the wealth and fame one has is of no use hereafter except what we carry in our soul. The rich and famous naturally worry more and some even take own lives when they start to fade. There are limitations in all and also fear of the unknown. We all yearn for something more. I feel it is the understanding and acceptance from others. We need company, even the loners. I can be alone, not feel lonely, but not for long! Elvis was looking much more beyond fame and wealth all the time. He knew the higher one rises the harder is the fall - siva

@Shiva49 The lovingness of anyone depends a lot on their interdependency on life, and on love, and on God, but when they only depend on themselves they distance themselves from love then, and so will end up lonely, and isolated. Even the rich and the famous must maintain this connection to love, in some way, or another, or risk becoming a recluse.

@innertalks The rich and famous soon find out that even they are not spared from the passage of time. As time takes its toll they are ill prepared to adapt as the hangers on move to fresh pastures. It is a losing battle to stay in the limelight of material life. Only the few who embrace love all the time are able to keep their heads above water once their days under the lights are truly over! siva
