Recently I wrote about my Great Grandmother's cousin Mildred Foster, well her health care providers wrote a article about her. Thought I would share it here.
So amazing that she is 105 and still living in her own home!
Below is the story shared on there Facebook page

CELEBRATING A CENTENARIAN
Living to 100 years old is a significant achievement! This is why we want to recognize one of our clients, Mildred Foster, who turns 105 on May 27th!
This year, her son Ed says the family will gather at Mildred’s home for a visit for her birthday. “Usually the kids come into town to visit and celebrate,” says Ed. “We had a big party for her 100th birthday. She had a party up at the civic center. That was a big deal!”
Mildred is a native Arkansan, who currently resides in Salem Arkansas. She was born in Calico Rock in 1912. She lived for a time in Oklahoma in the '20s, and Kansas in the '60s and '70s, before moving to Salem in 1985, where she has lived ever since.
Mildred spent her days as a mother raising 10 children; five boys and five girls. Her family has grown include 24 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 36 great-great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-great-grandchildren.
Nowadays, Mildred likes to play dominos and does a crossword puzzle whenever she can. She also enjoys visiting with her Home Care Assistant.
WRAAA helps supply Mildred with a caregiver for close to 49 hours a week. According to Ed, the assistants help with a lot of things around the home. “They clean the house, prepare her meals, and help keep her clean. Really they do whatever she needs. They really give us a lot of help.”
Even at 105 years old, Mildred is able to stay in her own home. That's our goal for every senior we care for. Give us a call at 1-800-382-3205 and let WRAAA help you or your loved one continue to live at home with dignity.
