In this globalized world I think the word race it self has lost its identity and importance . Now people across the world interact and live together. Thus i think racism is a big error in the societal system. We should treat everyone equally and welcome everyone.

In the ideal world racism has no place. I hope we can translate that into the real world.

It is mainly a matter of education, nobody is born racist, it is a bias transmitted by families. I don't think that globalization can change anything to it. You would think that biases like racism and xenophobia do not exist in a site like myLot ; de facto it is forbidden by the guidelines, but when you look to the profiles of members, you will find some who are never giving a response to an Asian... or to an European. Mentalities are changing very slowly, and we can hope that racism will disappear in the future, but it is not yet the case.

Of course, there are different races in the world. It would be strange to deny that. Racism means to consider one race better than others. Only that is a problem.

We should, but we don't. Not yet. Soon? as my two year old Niece would ask. Yes, maybe soon. It would be nice.

Racism was more in earlier days. It is still there in some countries and some societies. But I hope it will vanish in the near future with growing education.
