I know the year 2016 is notorious for multiple celebrity deaths but 2017 only have 5 months by far and it has been killing a lot of celebrities lately.
When I was a teen I survived my depression because of the songs of the band AudioSlave. It's vocalist Chris Cornell was also the former vocalist of the 90's grunge band Soundgarden. He is still young so it is very shocking for me to see him die.
On the same week, Former James Bond Roger Moore also just died.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I am noticing that many young people are dying and many in their 60's.

Globally 2016 is known as the celebrity killer year. I wonder if 2017 will surpass it.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Oh yah - it was seriously sillier and campier back then - ah those innocent times. Bam and Pow. Kinda the way Star Trek was in the tv series compared to the modern day Star Trek movies. Oh yah, Gotham City definitely became darker . . .

I am a 90's kid but I remember his version of Batman, it is really silly and campy compared to the dark Gritty animated series I grew up with.

Yes I feel like too that the era that I grew up in is quickly being dissolved with all the deaths of those who I grew up with. The time is passing by.

Something's going on their lives. I feel sad that despite of their careers and reputation, it doesn't make them happy.

That is because the celebrities are getting up there in age.
Some of them were young.
