I am a member of a holiday wish community on livejournal, one member posted their wish list & this was her #4 wish....
4. If you could send a card or an email to an ill kid, via http://www.postpals.co.uk or http://www.hugsandhope.org/ or http://www.makeachildsmile.org/ . I really understand the need for mail when you are ill and it only takes a few minutes to cheer someone up!I think it's a wonderful idea & it costs you just a few moments of your time. If anybody on my friends list did this I would send you lots & lots of...umm hugs & kisses? LOL virtual of course! ♥ help this girl out would ya??♥

Oh my gosh! I read the first child's story and I am now in tears. That is so sad!
I will definitely bookmark it so that I can send a card. Thank you for posting this website. It is something I would like to involve my kids with!

It is just touching to read such a story. I have had problems with my youngest, so I can sympathize. I am grateful I did not have to go through as much as those parents and children have to do. So yes, it is something I would like to do with my children because I try to teach them to be grateful and compassionate.
I think this would be something that would be perfect just for that!

I def didnt mean to make you cry!:( Im sorry hun*huggles* but Im glad you will be involving your children too:] it's something I plan on doingwith my kids as well!
