One day while my dog and I were walking up our building steps to our apartment I decided to trust us and took off the lease, but, instead of going home she bolting down the steps and out the door. I went looking for her and could not find her. About 2 hours later there was a knock on the door. It was my neighbor that lived up the stairs at the time and she told that this must belong to you. It was my dog. She followed another dog back here. The people were visiting my neighbor. I was so happy to see my dog. I think she was confused. She ate lots of garbage and threw it up.

My dog tried to ran away many times. We always closed the gate and told people not to forget to close the gate.
Once my grandpa forgot to close the gate and my dog ran away. I was running after him barefoot to catch him..

Shravya, That is not fun barefoot. Did you catch him or her? Why do you think the dog wants to run away?

@Hannihar I know.. I got hurt so bad.. I catched him anyway.. he was very active dog. I mean.. he just did it to meet the stray dogs..but some of them are not friendly. Once he got bit up by a stray, we were so scared and immediately took him to a vet.

Shravya, you are a brave hero for catching the dog. I can imagine how badly you feet got hurt. I am so sorry that the stray dogs were horrible to him.

@Hannihar I'm so glad the neighbour brought your dog back to you! You must have been SO relieved!
One night Charlie got out because my brother accidentally forgot to close the back gate. I'm so grateful that when my brother and I went out to look for him, I found him along the footpath right next to our street. He was happily running around but I cried when I picked him up because I had bad images in my head of him being picked up by someone else or hit by a car etc. I'm just happy that was not the case and that he was totally fine.

I think my dog was confused. I am also glad she brought her back to me. I know what you are saying and so glad you found Charlie.
