How do you deal with annoying people at the movies?

I tend to be a very patient person, but inside a movie theater I can easily transform myself. I'm a movie addict, so... A movie theater for me is a practically sacred place.
A friend was telling me 3 people had been kicked out of the session where they were because of the mess they were causing.
Why are there so many nonsense people in the world?

I wonder if some people who go on these rampages got so aggravated by degenerates in movie theaters? Yes movies is sacred.

It depends what they were doing, if they were making noise, I would ask them nicely to please stop.

I don't go any more because of the cost and because you are right, people seem to come to the movies to act out.. Last time I went I had the person behind me spill drinks that rolled down to us. People kept cell phones going and it was a bit too much.

That's the same reasons I do not go to the movies that much any more.

What happens in a movie theater is reflective of today's society as a whole.

Stopped going to movie theaters probably in 1995 or 1996. My son works at a movie theater and gets free tickets which he sometimes gives to his brothers or sisters. I think I'm officially an old person. Now that we have Netflix and YouTube, I see no need to go to the movies.

It's very irritating when one gets disturbed by other people taking a phone call or chatting

Because people don't have respect for each other anymore and think that they can do whatever they want and they are special even though they aren't. I just ignore them. After going to public schools that are loud and disruptive I have learned to tune those people out to get what I need done.

I wonder why people go to see a movie if their texting, talking and just plain rude. People today seem self-absorbed and oblivious to those around them. DB from the Jersey shore

I do not go to that many movies and when I do I try to go when children should be in school or asleep.

Glad you ask that question. I am seeing too many disturbing people lately such as disturbing neighbors. I do not trust people like that too much.

Well, just give them attention for like 2 seconds and then ignore them completely. You'll miss a scene if you don't. ;)
