A person who is not showing respect to his or her co worker or to any individual he lacks of my respect to himself in the first place. We must show respect to other people so that we can expect more that we will be respected with other people too. The first thing we should learn is to appreciate and develop good opinions about ourselves. And so from there,, it would be easier to appreciate and develop good opinions about others. We must have to show respect to other people in order that we can gain also respect from them. This is a good interpersonal relationships relationship towards other people.

If you respect yourself and respect those around you, others will probably respect you as well. Are you respect yourself and others?

I respect other people but sometimes you will always find one that will not respect you no matter what. Mutual respect for others is a must and is what we learned at School and we learned it from each other too being very young.

Yes that's right, it will always start in yourself, and eventually others will respect you and vice versa. It's like a symbiotic relationship

politeness and good manners and courtesy to others should be a given but respect really has to be earned rather than just given

Respect can never be given. It has to be earned. Being polite on the other hand is part of social behavior. Usually the result of good upbringing.

So true. First love and respect ourselves and then we are able to love and respect others!
