I don't think it's good or bad. I love my husband with all my heart. I also love my kids with all my heart. But they are different kinds of love. Not in a list from top to bottom, but parallel The best thing a parent can do for his or her children is to love the other parent, then they can better love the children..

Ideally, one must love his wife in your capacity as a husband; and one must love his chidldren in your capacity as a father to them. This degree and distinction of one's husbandly and fatherly care must always be clear in one's mind.
