Can you share your worst restaurant experiences

I recall being in a fast food place. I was sitting there with my friend nice and peaceful having a bite of lunch. This spoiled rotten brat kid say about 4 yrs old came over and spat at us and on our food. It was not the food in the place but that experience I remember. He was wild and the parents did nothing to reprimand him. We got up and left in amazement.

I had bad experiences. Mine was when a high end burger spot served our meal, dropped the onion rings on the table. The server picked it up and put it back on my plate and assumed I'll eat it?? Nope, I followed for a new one.

No, I have not any bad experience to share. So far good things happened with restaurants.

I used to go to a lot of nice and famous places when I had money. Was a bit of a showoff then so I always tried to go for 3 star places. One or two lived up to the hype the rest didn't for various reasons. If I ever do go out to starred places now I'd stick to one stars as they are looking for their second and third so work harder You don't always get what you pay for either...I've been to a very very popular local place with no stars or accolades and had a more enjoyable experience for less than a third of the money famous places charge.

Some years back we went to a restaurant, and a roach ran across our table. Another place had just opened a week or two before we visited. I used the bathroom. The soap dispenser was brand new and had no soap in it. Never used. That translated to me that the workers did not use soap. I have a feeling that was the only restroom they had. If they don't use soap, their hands are dirty and they are touching my food.

I cant say i had a worst experience, I just had some complains about the taste of the food.

We just had a terrible experience a couple weeks ago, terrible service, long wait for our food and when it did come it wasn't worth waiting for. Will not be going back there anytime soon.

This is why I prefer fast food! lol some of the chefs are just way too artistic for our taste

Once my daughter, and I went to Applebee's, and we waited for more than twenty minutes for a table because it was over crowded.

I have had similar experiences at more than one restaurants . I never go back and I rate the online.

My family and a bunch of friends went out to IHOP one night after the Christmas rodeo and we had terrible service. worst restaurant experience we have ever had and it was weird because we had stopped at this same IHOP every year after the rodeo and never been treated this way. We got there and it was late so there weren't many people there maybe three or four other tables. We got seated and we waited 30 minutes for to get our drink orders taken. Then another 15 minutes to get the drinks. After the drinks were given to us our waitress didn't come back to take our order for another 10-15 minutes. Then after she took our order she didn't come back at all to refill drinks or bring us our food for an hour. Like I said they weren't busy and they still had an hour or two before they closed and it's not like our waitress left or went to the back and didn't come back she was out and serving tables in the room right beside the room we were in. She could see us through the glass and the door was a few feet away. We had to ask another waitress to refill our drinks. When our waitress walked back by us not even acknowledging us my dad had to stop her and ask to speak to the manager. We were going on an hour and a half since we ordered the food and we still had no food and our waitress said she would get the manager. It was about 20-30 minutes and the manager didn't come to the table so my sister got up and asked the hostess to get the manager. So about another 10 minutes and the manager came to the table and then a few seconds later the waitress brought out our food and told us sorry they just finished cooking it. An HOUR & HALF to cook simple things because none of us ordered anything crazy or that would take long. Plus when it got to our table the majority or it was cold and hard so we know it sat there for a long time. The manager had the nerve to stick up for the waitress even though it was obvious she just wasn't doing her job with us but could seem to do it with other tables. She said it was because we were loud and obnoxious but all we were doing were talking and laughing with each other (there was about 20 of us) so of course, we would get a little loud but all they had to do was ask to keep it down and we would have. It still wasn't an excuse for her to just not do her job. We were actually really nice and patient with us because all of us there have been waitress or waiters and have worked with people that have been absolute nightmares but we still did our jobs. My sister even tried to stand up for the waitress at first until she saw her waiting on other tables and again it wasn't busy but all these other tables were coming and going before we even got our orders taken. All of our meals ended up being free and we left. My father made it very clear that we wouldn't be paying for the (lack of) service we got even if she did bring us a bill. It sucked for that waitress & restaurant though because we were a large part and our bill was going to be expensive and we are great tippers when we get good service becuase we know what it is like to get paid little for working hard.
