What I did during the Dragon Boat Festival

Due to the Dragon Boat Festival, we had a short vacation from Sunday until Tuesday. It is not a very special festival for me but it is good that we have three days off work.
I took advantage of these three days to clean my house. I don't like doing housework but I like it after that. Everything is in a good order and it is clean

So, you always get 3 day holiday for Dragon Boat Festival? Do you have dragon boat race over there? I am quite curious how do you celebrate this festival in China. For us here, I just know we enjoy eating zongzi. There might be some dragon boat races, but I have not attend any. I guess that's all.
It's good that you have time to clean up. I actually enjoy cleaning and organizing, it's quite a relaxing process for me. I especially like to see the end result of it. But, I always have to find time to do so, as every time after I have cleaned up, not long after that, my kids "contribute" to the mess again.

@youless True, unless you want to spend money to hire a professional cleaning crew.
I'm thinking about doing that for Chinese New Year.
We have to book early, as early as July, to get a confirmed service from the cleaning companies.
The demand for spring cleaning is very high here, and the cleaning companies will usually send in a team of cleaners.

That is how I like to do as well Youless. While everyone is busy celebrating or what have you, I like to stay home and clean, then when it is done be so satisfied. Glad you got that done. It was also the long weekend here with the Memorial Day. 3 days.
