I believe your body is telling you something when you keep wanting to sleep.
Sleep is good for us but if we sleep too much we will become lazy.. I speak from my experiences

@PBKING so true...because now I am too lazy to do anything. I go out, I think of my bed. I do work, I think of my bed... and my eyes can't even open any more...

There are days I know I have gone thru this. Part of my issue is that I am anemic and also Diabetic so I am sure the two things together help play a Big part in this. But sleeping all day is not good if it is happening all the time.

bad, I think more than 12 hours a day is too much.

I can't sleep the whole day but my mother can. After awhile I just get sore and parts of me start to hurt if I lay too long not doing anything. I am sure it can't be healthy to sleep all day all the time but everyone once in the while it should be okay. If you keep feeling tired and wanting to sleep all day and night and don't have the energy to do things then you should see a doctor because you might have some kind of imbalance. My friend was like this and she ended up having a vitamin B12 deficiency and had to get shots in her butt for a long time and then in her arm for awhile. Now has to take b12 vitamins for the rest of her life.

Im not sure about that but for me I always see to it that I have at least 8 hours of sleep and if I go beyond that I suffer from headache.

I never sleep very long at any one time, except if I've been run down or sick. But when I was young, I remember some days when I could sleep 12 or even 16 hours at a stretch. Mind you, I was very busy back then. I also went to college during the day and often worked the night shift before going to class. It was very hard on my body to go back and forth like that, so I needed a lot of rest.

Sleeping is nice. You forget about everything for a little while but whole day and more than that would be way too much
