Important Phone Call This Morning

As some of you might have read, I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, which resulted in getting X-rays of my knees. The technician said I would hear back by Friday. Try first thing this morning.
The arthritis in my knees is so bad they are referring me to an orthopedic surgeon. It's time for knee replacement. I had a feeling that time had come. So now I wait for the next phone call from that office. For me that is good news. I want to be able to walk better than I am without pain. It should also aid in losing weight as I will be able to get out and do more.
I remember when my brother had his knee surgery. He was able to do more and started riding a bike everywhere he went. I don't know if I'll get a bike again, but I do plan on being more mobile than I am at the moment.
Better days ahead. How about you? Any good news today? Thanks for reading.

That is wonderful news. I mean, I am sorry that you are experiencing this pain, but hopefully the pending surgery will fix that soon enough.
No good news here today, but I did yesterday at my doctor's appointment. In fact today is the other way, I stayed home from work as I have a bit of a stomach bug bothering me. I've been in and out of bed and not out of the house at all today. Hopefully this too shall pass. I'm giving it only 24 hours, and it started last night before midnight.

They're great! I just love being in the water and my knees love the whirlpool/hot tub. They feel like new afterwards for a little while at least.

I hope the operation goes well. I didn't think it was possible to have a knee replacement. I better start taking my exercise serioously cautious now.

Yes, my late brother had it a couple years before he passed and it did wonders for him.

You have a great attitude about needing knee surgery. A friend of mine had it after years of procrastinating. After surgery, she felt like a new person and returned to skiing all over the country.
Tomorrow I go for my physical.
Good news happened yesterday. My husband is taking me to Boston for an eating and birthday shopping spree. He planned it all by himself and even managed a beautiful room in my favorite hotel.
