i think many people have relatives in their family that for some reason we just don't along with no matter how much we try , we just don't see eye to eye
for me, it's my niece, i can't be around her for more than an hour where there isn't some kind of argument or disagreement , to be honest one of the reasons may be me, since before i know i'm going be in her company , i'm automatically on the defensive and i believe she senses this. but i also believe she deserves my attitude since she loves to pick little arguments and is the most critical person i know and that's not just with me , but with most people.
but, enough about her i'm getting angry just mentioning her
What i want to know is,is there one or more people in your life you just can't get along with?, and dread to be in their company? and of course why.

Oh my, I feel like this with my little brother, in fact I did a post about it. He piss me off so much that sometimes I don't want to live with him, he always try to start a fight with me, but I just try my best to ignore him. Stay calm and away is the best option to with with him

Sometimes your own company can be the best. However, you do need people in your life to interact with it's just part of life. I definitely agree that there are people who can really get on your nerves. I have tension with my younger brother. Probably the only way to limit the stress and tension is to spend less time around those who give you a negative attitude. Family is a tough balance for sure Now, on a similar topic, have you ever lived next to an obnoxious neighbor who you can't stand and annoys you to no end...

I do relish my time alone and of course i interact with members of my family and friends and the funny part of it is,i get along with most people and it's hard for me to understand why i can't say the same for my niece but we can't seem to be in the same room for more than an hour where there isn't a disagreement of some kind.
Have i ever lived next door to an obnoxious neighbor? yes and in fact, i do now.
She is one of those people who have an opinion on everything and if you disagree with her she will chastise you like you're a little kid. and never invite her into your home. i made the mistake of inviting her when she first moved in next door and the woman doesn't know when to call it a night, i finally had to tell her it was way past my bedtime and i guess that was a mistake, since now she doesn't talk to me at all which is actually a blessing there's a lot more but suffice it to say you wouldn't want her for your neighbor. under any circumstances.

@dgobucks226 OMG, i know it must be pretty annoying living next to these people and since you say they're like the'' Beverly Hillbillies''this must include more than one person, which is even more annoying, but, that is one of the funniest descriptions i have ever heard neighbors being described as and i can't even imagine what it must be like living next to them

@jujunme I've got one myself. Like living next to the Beverly Hillbillies. Not kidding! In addition, they are noisy, nosey, and clueless on being considerate to others.

Thanks Chris , i just don't get her, i get along just fine with most people i know, but when i'm in her company it's like walking on eggshells since you never know the mood she will be in and all i want to do is slap her silly
the good thing is i don't have to be in her company very often

@chrissbergstrom You're right . but it's pretty hard to ignore someone if you're in their home or they're in yours.

Yes. I have this bad workplace experience about my supervisor who was a bully, bossy and full of nonsense. It's hard to work with such people when what she only see is the mistake or fault of other people; as if she knows everything and what she's doing is always right. She's so very suspicous of others, alaways under stress and in all honesty, I'm coming to think that she's a bit sick in the head.
