Have you ever tried to read a discussion and was struggling to finish? Especially if it was not an interesting one. It has happened to me in a number of times. This is why I like writing short discussions. What is your take on this?

The length of a post does affect attention span of the reader. But short discussion that do not provide an interesting topic also get less comment.

I actually prefer a longer post, but of course it has to be interesting. I dislike a one sentence post, or one which just asks a question without giving the poster's own views.

Yes I agree a post have to be interesting, to make it worth the time taken to read it. That is no exception.

I just ignore the "one line" post or the ones with a question. Can't stand them.

Lots to say means lots to talk about, little to say might not indicate a desire to talk much about it, but shorter posts may be better to get the conversation started and from there the comments can become very long.

I prefer short posts too but if the topic is about making money online I read it even if it's 2,000 or more words. I am addicted to internet money.
