When I got home I went out to be with the dogs, so the cat came in to eat as Tony was on the phone, kicked back in his recliner.
I came in after around an hour and I seen something in the kitchen floor and thought the paper fell out of my purse. But when I got closer and looked it was one of those rat catching sticky board.
Tony said " what is that? The cat came flying through there flipping out."
The cat was NOT supposed to be in there, he went into the pantry and under some stuff and got in trouble when he stepped on that sticky board.
I peeled it from the floor and tossing it in the trash, the cat was by the front door where he always lays meowing, I told him to let me look at his feet, he laid still and let me checked them out, One rear foot had small red spot so I asked spooky " is that the foot that got hurt?" He meowed and kept the foot in the air.
Poor baby, he did not think about going all over the house after that monster got it.

When I worked to help residential clients we put some of those out, but all we ever caught was Royce (a client) and his house shoe, blanket, and pajama pants. Poor Spooky.

Do you think his paw had the red spot from the chemical on the pad or maybe just because he was aggravated and possibly did some weird things to get the sticky pad off his paw? Hopefully he'll remember and not go wandering where he's not supposed to be in the future, but I don't know how long cats can remember such things. Good luck on that.

My cats get into things too. I keep telling my mother to close the doors when she through with them so they won't get into things.
