I am watching this show but for the life of me can't figure out where the name comes from. The star of the show is not using that name. Nor is anyone else for that matter. I guess I will wait for one of you to tell me what's up.

This show takes place six years before Breaking Bad and tells Jimmy's story. Jimmy changes his name to Saul.

It is about Jimmy had to struggle his downfall to move on his life after his brother Chuck crashed him down out of his own career of being a lawyer..Jimmy wanted a new life, not being connected with his brother Chuck and that made him change his name to SAUL GOODMAN..
