I am so excited. Today is the last day until late August that my daughter and I will have to get up so early. All three of take several medications so it is tough getting up early in the morning. My daughter and I have sleep problems too. My grandson has to get up, take meds, get dressed and get out to catch the school bus at 6:18a. So I set my alarm for 5a. to wake and make sure that my daughter(who takes five medications for bi-polar disorder) wakes and is able to get my grandson out in time for the bus.
Today is the last day that any of that has to transpire for several months. I am so excited that we will get to sleep in a little for a change. Sleep is so valuable. It feels so good to get a good nights sleep. Those two to three extra hours of sleep will be so nice.

That'll be good, a good summer rest from all that.
Is it much harder though when school starts in again? I bet so to get used to the new schedule.
But at least that is a good ways off for a couple of months.

Yes, but I don't want to think about that for a while.

Wow we have several weeks more of school here but I know many places finish earlier than we do in the northeast.

@celticeagle We don't usually finish until well into June though Jack is having his pre-school graduation on Thursday but that is a private school and they usually get out a bit earlier.

@AbbyGreenhill ......Schedules and the regularity of being home can cause some stress on a person.

I wonder how many people now enjoy the summer and possibility to sleep longer.

I hope lots of moms do. This particular school's schedule is just too early. No other one in this city is as early.

yes. Sleep is very important. As per medical reports, every normal person should have a minimum 6-8 hours sleep
