I fell and had to call 911

Hospice left awhile ago. My back hurts so bad with sciatic nerve involvement. I got to the toilet to do number 2 and then I couldn't get up off the commode. It took me about 40 minutes to raise up off it and I worked so hard moving myself down the hallway.
I tried to get into my room, but I couldn't move the walker to move with me. My back, butt, legs and feet were numb and tingling like needles.
So I fell. That was another 40 minutes . I got my phone with my cane and called my daughter and 911. They wanted me to go to the hospital but I said just get me in bed. They put me in a sling and finally got me in bed. I took morphine and percocet for pain. I'm still hurting. Hope I cab rest soon.

I can't walk to the bathroom so I had to use my bedside commode. This morning when I had my bath I couldn't get off the bed at athe all. My CNA did it all and placed me in the middle of the bed. Are you doing OK?

I am so sorry! I hope that the pain subsides and you are able to rest soon!
If the pain does not go away then you need to go to the hospital, or at the very least, let your doctor know what happened.

@OreoBrownie AS someone who avoids visiting the doctor at all costs, I do understand that.
There is an exercise / stretch to relieve sciatic nerve pain. A friend who does massages, but is not certified taught it to me. However, it takes two people (the one needed the stretch and an assistant) and may not be possible for all people.
I didn't suggest it last night as I am not sure whether it would be helpful or more detrimental. On top of that, it was suggested by an uncertified practicing masseuse.
The patient lies on their back and lifts their knees up to their chest. The assistant takes their arms and lays them across the patients legs. This stretches the lower back around the sciatic nerve and loosens any tension. Like I said, not an easy thing to do, and may be more detrimental depending on what other injuries you might have incurred, or what other pre-existing conditions you might have.
I only suggest it here in case you ever wanted to bring it up to a physcian who may very well question it's validity. As is their right.
Forgive me for the long reply. I hope you are feeling better today and hope to see you around more.

I don't know what I said that was funny, but I had a sense of humor to the EMT that got in bed with me to place me in bed. I don't think I wrote that in my response.

It is so sad the times you cannot move, and end up falling like that. Not a good one either, and hope you are OK after the fall. Praying for you my friend.
