Hi to all, if you disable in your profile account "eMail me when someone responds to my discussions" and make "notify on" in your friends informations, you receive eMail when your friends start a new discussion, and you can reply it, for me is more useful, I reply to all my friends and I'll funny if my friends reply to my discussions.
