Bye-Bye Beautiful Mountains - time to boogie on home!

We have a few things to do to put the rental back in shape before we leave. That is important in order to get our $200 deposit back!
It's been a fun 4 days:
. We ate ourselves silly
. We have a nice supply of meat and goodies to take home
. We will never forget the views and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains
But:
. We look forward to heading home
. And we all look forward to jumping in the pool later today!

I'm glad to hear you had a great trip. I haven't been here we went camping and up to see our son in Michigan.

@AbbyGreenhill We had a thunderstorm during the night and it is raining here. It's perfect, on Sunday kids are home from school.

@LadyDuck We are to have rain on/off all day today and tomorrow. That's why my husband rushed to get the mowing done yesterday.

I have heard the blue ridge mountains are gorgeous. Another place I would love to see one day.
There's no place like home but I'm glad you had a good time away. =)

Thanks, it's always good/nice to get back to 'normal' and comfortable surroundings! But that rental did have all the comforts of home - except not home LOL!

What a gorgeous picture. You know I love the Smoky Mountains, so I'm envious of your vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I hope you had a great time, and please share stories and more pictures!!! Oh, and have a safe trip home!

We left early and were home by a little after 10 am. The Blue Ridge are so different from the Smoky's but don't ask me to explain it!

Yes it is. We left earlier than originally planned so we were home by 10 am. Had a good time putting things away then into the pool I went!

The Blue Ridge runs from NE GA up to VA - so you can see them from many roads!
