Another Fake Virus Hits Android Phones

I haven't been blessed with one of the many fake virus scripts currently circulating on Android phones. This is annoying but nothing is actually happening when it seems to hijack your browser. You get the 'official' Google logo but the rest is pure fakery. If you try to back out of a page it will just keep reloading it over and over Close the browser window, go to Settings and Apps and clear the cache of whatever browser you were using. One of the boys got this and I thought his head was going to fly off his shoulders. While there are some viruses that you need to completely leave alone, this one is just annoying. I shouldn't have to tell you to avoid being a cyber sleuth and going to the website associated with this and even if you are cloaked, you could still end up with something sticky on your 'feet' when you leave that page.

I've gotten this one before. I just turn the phone off.

@teamfreak16 I don't use my phone on this site, still trying to rework the system to disallow downloads or allow a web page from gaining control of my phones browser

@freak369 - I get those and Walmart gifts right here on MyLot, probably because iI'm here all the time.

Ugh, I get those whenever I look at MyLot on my phone. Glad to hear it wasn't just me.
