There are a lot of different work at home jobs that are nothing but a scam. I have worked for a couple of companies and have done some micro-tasking online as well.
Arise.com is great...you do have to pay to work for the client, but you are able to set your own schedule.
Fancy Hands is great to do as well, many tasks that you get paid for.
Amazon Mechanical Turk is great, the pay is very low, but you do get paid for different mini task.
What other options are out there?

Arise.com is awesome. The only thing with them is that you have to pay for the training for the client, and you don't get paid for the training...But once you certified, you are able to set your own hours.

I created a profile but I haven't been accepted for any work with anyone on that site.
