Do you use a screen protector on your phone screen

I have been using a tempered glass screen protector on my mobile phone to avoid screen damage. The advantage is that in case there is any impact or drop the screen protector cracks but the actual mobile phone screen is safe. If the actual mobile phone screen cracks it is very expensive to repair. Do you use a screen protector.

I bought my last one on eBay too. Worked out cheap. Previously I bought a few on Amazon.

@pitstop Chinese sellers sell cheap on ebay with free shipping, problem is the shipping time. It's harder for us to shop at Amazon, we use a third party warehouse with a U.S.address before it gets shipped to us.

@louievill thankfully we have an Amazon site for India. So it's easy.

I also use a glass screen protector. I buy it from Walmart which is a whole lot cheaper than buying it from the cell phone store.

Did you choose a branded protector or just a generic one?

@1creekgirl I used to buy branded ones, but realised that the generic ones are almost as good at half the cost or sometimes even cheaper.

Is it a tempered glass screen protector or is it the usual plastic one?

@pgntwo that's great! It will be great if all phone companies do that.

@melissaneal I've heard that OtterBox is very strong, but did not know they had a free replacement policy.

@pitstop Yes they do... I have had to replace mine and all I had to do was pay for shipping and handling. I love Otterbox, and would never carry a phone without one. They are durable, and I have never had issues with my phone being protected with one on.

No I dont use it, it affects the touch quality of the phone, and I like it as it is I purchased it.

I find the touch response is not all that affected by a screen protector. What phone do you have?

Yes, it's necessary.
