I guess it finally happened - hell froze over!

My husband always says he's going to wash the SUV when hell freezes over - so it must have gotten a lot colder last night than I thought! It seems hell has frozen over!
It is funny that the first year he gets a new vehicle he washes it every few weeks...the older it gets the less soap and water it sees. I told him he needed to wash it since we had to park under trees in North Carolina and the sap was unavoidable!
Besides, I like to bust his chops when I get the opportunity! Do you bust you bust chops when the opportunity arises?

I had to search the meaning of "bust one's chops", I have learnt a new expression today. I usually nag my husband about his habit never to throw anything. I like to wash the car, I think I am going to wash it soon, it got a bit dusty when we went to Milan last time.

nag and bust chops is pretty much the same thing! I can't wash that SUV, it's too high to reach the top - he has a special thing he uses to do it but he's got a 7 foot wing span! When I had a real car back before him, I washed it once a week - it was a sports car and low to the ground.

Heck, now that you enlightened me, I'd put a sheet over my windshield if I were in that area, lucky for me all I deal with is bird droppings @AbbyGreenhill not fun either but easier to clean off a windshield.

Yes, very very sticky - the windshield was covered and thank goodness they had lots of windex and paper towels at the rental or we would have driven blind coming home!

We haven't had our car washed in ages. We said we'd wait til we get an oil change and they offer complimentary car washes (at the dealership)

The guys at the dealership don't even tighten the lug nuts the right way - would not trust them with a water hose LOL!

It is not my husband who is that way, it is my 21 year old son. He waits to the last minute to wash the car or cut the grass around here.

Around here the grass comes before most other chores! He never hesitates to mow...we fight over mowing I love doing it.
