I am an occasional consumer of selected Twitter feeds. One of those I subscribe to publishes snippets from a cartoon strip that I enjoy very much: Calvin and Hobbes, by Bill Watterson.
The single frame above made me smile this morning.

Definitely. Why do all these sixteen and seventeen year olds want to grow up so quickly and be able to vote??

When I was kid , never want to grow up, always want to be in school..lol..but that never happens

I've a link to the site where that strip is written. I like reading through the ones I have missed up to the present day. Sometimes I forget to read it for a month or more!

Not enamored of the many Calvin and Hobbes offerings on YouTube, it has to be said...
Garfield and Peanuts also lost something in the move to the small or big screen...
