I try to keep aware of the news either by reading some online or by watching TV, depending on what is more important. In my laptop there´s a page at the start, but it doesn´t have the sort of news I´m most interested in.
They have lots of stories about celebrities, chilean and from the rest of the world. And there´s always some informations about something that has to do with a killing. Sports have also a lot of coverage.
To get what I want I usually have to search for special news. How do you do it? Are you interested in news of the world? What kind of news ?

I love watching the news! It gives me insight of what's happening around the globe today. I just don't like the sad news part when people are dying or have nothing to eat. I also read online especially for news here in the country I live in since we recently have some issues down south.

I like more to read or watch what is happening politically than to see about a fire or any other calamity.

Many news online are not what is really happening in the world.

I try not to watch too much of it and it all depends what is going on.
Doom and gloom news is out for me most of the times and so I turn a "deaf ear".
I have stopped reading yahoo.co.uk every day like I used to have made a promise that I would not do that anymore and I have stuck to it.

@lovinangelsinstead21 It is nor the readers fault. The owners of the channels have the power. It is politics.

@marguicha
They give us all the usual dumb stuff on what to do and not what to do when its hot weather.
As if no one already did not know that.
Also all the other predictable stuff.
I wish they would change the News Readers every so often.
One has been there for so long it seems like she is eternal.

I have not subscribed for a real physical newspaper. I mostly get updates from news websites.
But some days I do not feel like reading the news.
The news are so disturbing - of killings, political issues, riots etc.

Since the election I've been obsessed with keeping up on what Trump is up to as I genuinely fear for the US. I also read news about local things, health and science. I do pay attention to some world affairs but not as much as I should. I ignore sports stuff.

I'm one of those people that won't really know the news unless I look on facebook. I also learn a lot of news because of Philip Defranco .so yes! I do try and read the news everyday. It is good to know the good and bad in the world. Makes living a bit more worth while.

I try to read about the world news. But I´m not very much interested in celebrity situations and I seldom care about sports.

Daily news in our country is very unfortunate most of the times. Our president is always banging on somebody.I wish he could give us better trends when it comes to our country's industrial developmental awareness.

Think I am one of the few people who still read newspapers. My break at work I sit down with a cuppa and the paper. Also watch the news every night. Although with it being all politics or terrorist attacks I do find it very depressing some night's ??

Lately, I find that newspapers lave too small letters and too big pages.

I listen to the radio first thing in the morning and get the news in 5 minutes and the weather. I'll go online and check the BBC and see if there is anything that I need to know and that's about it. If there is an important story than I'll read all about it.

Every since I learned about them being one sided and bias, I just seldom watch it anymore.
