I usually have 3 or 4 migraines a year. For about fifteen years I had a headache everyday but it was related to something else they could never find and stopped when the doc gave me meds for another condition I had, and it took away the headaches. The everyday headaches used to just about take it all out of me, but I could sort of function. When I get a migraine, I can't do anything well but sleep.

I used to have headaches all the time too...for about ten years I had one everyday all the time. Changing glasses didn't help and nothing I took helped. Only relief was sleep. When my dr. prescribed vioxx for something else, it took the headaches away. Then he switched me to celebrex. That worked too. Ask your dr. Celebrex just came back on the market recently.

I have been getting migraines for 23 years now, and nobody seems to know what the cause is. It is part of my life now. I have learned to exept it, I really get it bad, the best thing which works for me when I have an attack is a bethadene injection.

I had water on the brain (hydrocephalus) and didn't know it for 24 years. When they operated and relieved the pressure, the change in equilibrium caused severe headaches. After that I acually had migraines and other headaches of various types more often, guess because I am more sensitive. Eyestrain, hormonal imbalance, allergies, etc, all bring on headaches. Since I got meds like Vioxx actually my headaches are much less frequent. Now I don't take vioxx of course but there are others that also work the same. I have this type of med because of case of arthrosis in my back.

I get migraines once or twice a month, usually from hormonal fluctuations.

It's very difficult to imagine the intensity of a migraine. And it's difficult to realize that you can actually get through it. If you're 14 you might be getting headaches from puberty. This too shall pass! Tell your doctor because that is the best person to help you with that.

Well I dont have too much toubles about migrane. I usually get a head ache around thrice a year or so. Sometimes it just goes away after sleeping and sometimes if I know that I cant sleep then I just take medicine for it and it works

I know that when I get a really bad sinus headache, either from an allergy or from some strange odor, or a cold, if it stays very long and gets bad, it can start feeling like migraine symptoms. I can also get migraine symptoms like dizziness and double vision from too much eye strain.
I can feel for you as far as having migraines everyday of the week. I went through about twenty years where I had moderate to intense headaches everyday. Most of them didn't have migraine intensity but at times they did. Mostly I just got exhausted from being in pain like that all the time. I still get that way now, tired, but it's from back pain all the time, everyday.

I used to get them almost monthly. Lately, they're pretty rare. I cannot stand those who claim to have migraines and still walk around, work, etc. THAT is a bad headache, not a migraine. Try your head ready to split off, barfing, can't stand up straight, the sound of a pin dropping puts you over the edge... now THAT is a migraine! lol If mine get bad, I take Imitrex shots. The pills are worthless to me. The nasal spray hasn't worked yet either.

I usually have 3 to 4 a week. I don't know why and it's kind of scary. My doctor is a quack and tells me to take a tylenol. Does he not know that doesn't work. So My only option is to deal with the headache and all its symptoms, which are not very pleasant.

That's absolutely true, before I am having my period and when I am stress out that is the time it triggers. I think try having an exercise such cardio that makes our body sweat, this will help and also don't think too much of your problem sometimes this triggers migraine, and try seeing an opthalmologist and try to use eyeglasses.

Drink some water, dehydration can cause migraines. Take break if you can, if you cannot focus on something as far away as you can for 20 sec and then on your desk. Repeat a few times. If possible dim the lights and decrease the noise. If you do not need your speakers on turn them off. Get something with caffeine in it like coffee or mountain dew and try and relax. take things one step at a time, rushing will stress you and you'll have to re-do things because you are unable to focus. I would suggest keeping some Excedrin migraine in your desk from now on and a piece of chocolate. Chocolate has caffeine in it too. If the migranes persist see a doctor.
