I have not been camping in a tent at a state or national park for probably near 10 years. I took a weekend off later in August so I think me and my older and younger sister are going to spend some time with nature! As an adult Ive never planned this stuff. No ideahow much a campsite costs, what the rules are and so forth. But I think this would be a fun experience for us. Do you make a point to go (tent) camping in the summer? Do share!

I have never been camping. Although we do plan on going later in the year with the children. I think they will love it. I prefer a nice warm comfortable bed

@maezee shower is a definite must for me haha. And a toilet that I do not need to share with other families that actually flushes

I went camping at the beach in May. But it was not tent camping. We hired a bungalow. The reason why we didnt go for the tent camping was because my grandma and grandpa accompanied us too this time. And considering their age we hired a bungalow

@maezee It is similar to a normal house and have all the same facilities except that it is situated near to the beach.

I don't anymore Maezee. I would love to though. Most of the camping I did was when I was a child with my family and also in my teen years.

And yes me too! You are in Denver so if you ever get a chance it looks like there are some cool parks in the mountains (can people even camp in the mountains though? Or is it too cold?)

My sister and I started camping as adults when our children were tiny, we all sleep in tents. Its been about 40 years we have been doing this and now the adult kids come with us when they can. You can look on line to see what the rules and price is. It's a lot more expensive since I was a kid...

I don't ever want to tent camp again in my life. I lived in a tent with my husband when we were homeless so I think it would only bring back painful memories for us. I do want to stay in a cabin on the lake this summer with my husband and kids though. =)

From my many posts about camping you know that we go camping every weekend during the summer. I love spending time with nature. It is so relaxing to be outside for an entire weekend. At the end of the day it is nice to sit around a campfire. I am sure you and your sister will have a wonderful time and make lots of great memories.
