Nobody asked me but:

1) why, with all the modern technology haven't supermarkets found a way to wrap chicken without it 'bleeding' all over? 2) why don't people going to the market knowing they are paying by check fill out the check at home except for cash amount? 3) why do people waste time--and the people's time behind them--looking for the exact correct change? (Okay I was at the market doing my weekly grocery shopping--won't even ask why people with many items get in '10 items only' line and 'act' dumb.) 4) Why are the Republicans, in charge of all 3 government branches, so defensive? 5) what happened to 'please' and 'thank you'? 6) does a religious fanatic get a 'bonus point' for trying to convert someone of another religion? Do they get a point taken away if they don't succeed? 7) why aren't couples tested on their knowledge (or lack of) BEFORE they have children? (Let's not even get into having sex!) 8) why hasn't a study (or has it?) been done, in countries that allow gay marriage, of how it is 'destroying' family values? 9) why does everyone, including kids in kindergarten, have to win a prize? 10) why, with all the madness that is going on in the world, am I so positive?

I love this questions, are so random but so true. I felt identified with religion, because it's silly to try to convince people to join their religion. I think we all need to ask ourselves this questions sometimes.

You've got some good questions there. Standing in the grocery line I have often wondered the same thing. The only question I can answer with confidence is #10. Life is sweet. A negative attitude is not going to make a bad situation better. The glass IS half full.

Valid questions, ones that I often w3onder about. As for #7 I have said for years that people need to be tested before being allowed to procreate.

About that chicken: We don't buy them, but yes, they do have the technology to do a better job (which you already know). It amazes me that people act like they are surprised they have to get out their check or whatever and pay! You have so many good questions here @GreatMartin that some of us could talk about your points all day. Sometimes it seems people should have to get approved to have children but imagine if we suggested that! We even say please and thank you to family members and others living in our home!
