Do you regularly do hand craft & what is the latest project you have attempted

I must admit I have been a hand craft junkie for as long as I can remember.I think I have passed this crazy habit on to my daughter as well. we spend hours on the phone discussing projects down to the finest detail, some of these projects never get off the ground.
I am currently stuck between quilting and jewellery making with a little bit of cardmaking and scrapbooking on the side.I am trying to build up kits for a new website that is in its formative stages but I get sidetracked by looking through my huge library of craft books. Nearly three rooms of my house have been taken over by this passion.
Does anyone out there share my passion or do you see it as a compulsive obsessive disorder?

Unfortunately, I'm not creative enough to be crafty. I've tried to do things, but I'm never happy with the results. Especially since I have a sister who's creative and can do all sorts of things well and everybody ooh's and ahh's over her stuff. Anyway, I don't think you have a obsessive compulsive disorder. I wish I could be as crafty as you and you're daughter! I bet she's a brilliant one! :D Like mother, like daughter!

You need to have more faith in yourself,of course everyone oos and ahs over your sisters stuff because she makes a point of showing everyone what she has made.Just start out and decide to make something nice but simple for yourself.It will make you feel good knowing that you have made it there's no need to tell anyone that you made it until someone asks where you got it.
Actually my daughter didnt really catch the bug until she moved to a fairly remote area and needed something to stop her going mad.I dont think she really had any faith in her abilities until she got started and actually completed some items.

**head down** yes I do. My hubby thinks I am mad, althought I do try to stick to ONE crazed fad at a time.LOL
