It's been ages coming, but I have finally completed The Warriors: Crimson Chaos. When did it all begin? Oh, lord... Let's go back over a couple of decades. I was seventeen when I first created the Warriors. I'm 37 now. You figure that's a long time ago, right? Back then, all the characters were the same, as in you couldn't tell them apart except by name. Over the years I worked them out, in short stories to myself and in role-plays online. In 2007, I self-published my first novel, The Warriors: The Beginning. This was merely a test to see if I could do it, and looking back it was both a failure and a success.
As my writing improved, so did my ambition to better the characters. I rewrote their story completely, added in new characters, gave them obstacles to overcome, and improved their personalities by differencing them from one another. Instead of being all mushy and loveable, I instilled distrust and uncertainty into them. They had to work through their feelings, learned to overcome their distrust of their mentor, each other, and even of themselves.
After a few years of working on the new edition, The Warriors: Crimson
Chaos has been completed and is now available on Amazon for both Kindle and paperback versions. This is, foremost, the first official version of the series. As mentioned above, the previously published work of The Beginning was only a test.
So what is The Warriors: Crimson Chaos about?
Think Hunger Games meets Supernatural. There is a mystic with supernatural abilities that has been tasked to find eight specially gifted teenagers who have been called to battle an evil god and not just any god, the father of evil himself; Tutock. Each was born with a special supernatural power that when put to good use can do a lot of good or wreck havoc on the world if used wrongly. It wasn't just these powers that would enable them to stand against Tutock, but something so much more. Their training wasn't put lightly either. As I said, it's essentially Hunger Games meets Supernatural. I'll give a hint, they don't trust their mentor but have no choice when it comes to enduring the dangerous training he puts them in.
Currently, I have two more novels in this series lined up. I won't go into detail just yet. I'll post updates when they're underway. At the moment, I am working on a sci-fi novel called Turning the Tide.
I'm probably addicted to writing... That's okay, isn't it? Also, sorry for the super long post. I was on a roll.

It sounds like an interesting series and novel. I know about taking a long time to get a series completed. It's a good addiction.

@Firestorm0122 So would I, but I don't see that happening. I have another series I'm thinking about doing from a novel I wrote that still needs editing before I even consider publishing it.
