My Fidget Spinner

When I was young, this was the fidget spinner I used. It didn't take too long to master the basics and some of the simpler tricks. Getting a good yo-yo that would 'sleep' was key to doing some of the more advanced tricks.
I still have a couple and periodically take one out for a 'spin'.
Did anyone else enjoy these as a kid? What tricks could you do with yours?

Yes that yoyo and slinkys and jacks and paddle ball.

I wasn't too good with a yo-yo, but I loved watching Tommy Smothers work them.
My "fidget spinner" was a pencil.

I loved to do Rock The Baby . My sister and I had yo-yo's that lit up.

Locally in Malaysia, we call this Yo Yo. It was fun but my finger was in pain as the string got tighter when it winds up. There were competitions too among the boys.
