JB Holmes is on his way back after missing almost three years due to two brain surgeries. He was robbed of his prime golfing years, but Holmes, now 34, is heading in the right direction. In 2011, JB Holmes needed surgery to correct a structural defect in his cerebellum, which knocked him off the golf tour as he took a year off going through rehab. The condition calls for Doctors to remove a piece of his skull and replace it with a metal plate. Unfortunately for Holmes, he was allergic to the adhesive the Doctors had used on his skull. This resulted in the patch popping up and causing a condition called chemical meningitis. With fluid leaking in his brain the pro golfer had to be medevated to John Hopkins for a second surgery. After a long recovery period, Holmes returned to the tour again in 2014, winning a tournament that year and again in 2015. He continued his strong play last year finishing in the Top Five in two Majors and making the Ryder Cup team. JB Holmes seems to have the talent to contend in a Major and has set a 2017 goal to finally win one. Holmes is known for his ball-striking and prodigeous drives. With that combination and the US Open being played this week, he may finally "fight his way" to his 1st Major Title.

Yes Ocean T.- He really made some comeback. I checked the golf scores today. He played really well and is in contention Hoping he can finally win his Major golf title. By the way, his wife also had a condition that required brain surgery, unbelievable. What are the odds, rooting for the guy!
