Do you like posting photos of you in Social Network Sites?

Since my boyfriend became my Facebook friend, I rarely post photos. He does not want me to post every now and then in social network sites. I just post there whenever there is a need to. Yesterday, I posted photos of me and my colleagues in the conference. There is just one photo of me and the rest are of my colleagues. I was wearing a floral dress and a yellow ponytail. I did not expect that he will like and comment on it because he does not like doing that.
He complimented the way I look but I don't take it seriously since I know I am just a simple ordinary woman. Then my superior also commented agreeing with what my boyfriend said. I felt like all my blood are in both my cheeks while reading their comments. Although their compliments are good but it made me feel shy most specially when it came from my superior. So, I think, I will not post another photo of me again.
Have you posted a photo of you recently on any social network sites?

I can relate with it. I do not like posting my travel photos but do still because of my mom.

@annierose it is a great way to still feel involved in family life when they live far away.

If you will post photos once in a while, I think that's just alright. But posting every action/event of what you're currently doing right, every minute and second is too much (that's how kiddos, teenagers nowadays do on their Social Media accounts) as if their friends are really interested in their lives.

@mackoy85 When I was outside the country, I did not have any choice but to post every now and then for my mom. She has been a worrier and I think it calms her when she knows what is happening with me from afar.

@mackoy85 Yes, but as much as possible I don't like posting about travels because I think I make some people jealous when I do.

I really don't like to put my picture up. I mean I look my age which is 66 and I regret not looking 36, LOL. I don't see the 66 year old in the mirror, so why do I have to see her in the picture? heh heh

@CinnamonGrl I understand. Some people loves taking photos and upload it on social network sites. I think it adds to their self confidence when someone gives them compliments.

@josie_ Many of my students are selfie experts. I am also not confident in taking my selfie photos. My bf is the one who takes photos of me and that is the one that I upload in facebook.

@Nawsheen I support you. It is also a good thing to keep some things in us privately.

No, I don't usually post photos of myself... not as much as I might have once upon a time!

@Hate2Iron I understand. My boyfriend does not like posting his photos too but during our travels, we are obliged to post photos of us because of my family.

I post photos alot. As its my account and its an option to do for a reason.
Your boyfriend shouldn't be telling you not to post photos.

@Courtlynn I respect his decision. And I think he is right that it is not good to post almost everything in social network sites.

I do sometimes post a photo in social media but it's not always my face. It could be a photo of a place I recently visited. I don't always do selfies and post it on facebook. People are not that interested, anyway.

@rachz_kisses Sometimes it makes me feel irritated seeing too much selfie photos of the same person every day. When that happens, I just unfollow the person.
