It's so good when I find a free book to read - and it's not a bible or bible-related.
I don't often read fiction but (as fans know) Tolkien has a style and voice of his own. His books read like those stories I wish my grandfather would've told me.
And, besides, it is "The Hobbit."
I think I read this once before in jr. high school. Since I'm old, I want to go ahead and make sure I do.
This is one of those classics everyone should read.

I did read it in middle school, although I wasn't a huge fan of it then . I've thought about attempting to read it again .
I don't know how techy you are but you have an a droid device a phone or tablet there is an e reader app called Scribd that I use that has thousands of ebooks I think Tolkien is on there

I'm sure - no, ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN - Tolkien is all over the web. I just - sometimes - enjoy my reading off of paper pages and without the use of an electrical device.
There's something to the feel of a book and not being online...or connected...or my battery dying. Haha.

Have you read it? (No spoilers, please.) Yes, i have. I've watched the movie as well.
What are some of your favorites? 'Catcher in the Rye' is the one that comes to mind right now.
Would you read them again? Yes, over and over and over again.
