The good : Have gained valuable advice from members Great platform to learn from Insight into others experiences $1 earned Less invasive than other social media The bad : Some posts I just don't understand Lose track of conversation, sometimes does not follow logical sequence $1 earned, not sure at this rate it will pay off Could be more addictive than Fb I would like to take this opportunity of thanking everyone who have been so friendly and supportive. It is appreciated.

Regarding the not understanding - some posts are near gibberish, so just move on. And the money is very little, even for those of us who've been here for quite a while. So if earning is your goal, this may not be the site for you. However, if you want to learn new things and make friends, this IS the place

@Rhombus Oh yes, the different terms are particularly prevalent in British English and American English!

@jaboUK I made a comment about sweets, luckily the poster knew I was referring to candy. Trying to use alternate words now that hopefully only have one meaning.

I wish there was a way to follow the weird posts though...There are mainly great ones. I also realized that because we are all from different countries, that could be why. I.e.: sweets/candy....robot/traffic light etc. so possibly some of mine would be hard to understand.

I agree this is not as invasive as social media and it's much more fun. You won't earn a lot here. I earn about $2.50 a month because I have more profitable ways to concentrate my time if I want to earn money. But I really like interacting with the people here, it is fun and relaxing, and I learn so much. It's more of a hobby than an earning tool for me. Sometimes I, too, lose track of the conversation, especially when it branches off into other subjects. A discussion about babies can very well drift into how childless people feel about their pet "children", for example. I do enjoy reading all the responses to discussions I'm interested in but if they get too confusing I'll just give up but that's rare. Happy that you are here with us!

welll before giiving up on some posts Limericks are supposed to be funny and weird and sort of nonsense they have five lines'and a rhyme scheme one must stick too so when some one has a .limerick in their post use some imagination instead of telling me you do mot understand. read some limericks so you understand mine too

Thanks, have not yet seen any posts with limericks, but will keep an eye out for them. They would be a lot of fun.

You don't have to be a newbie *not* to understand certain posts! :-) Logic isn't everyone's forte.
