Google is celebrating the 117th birthday of the German-American Oskar Fiscginger who was an "abstract animator, filmmaker, and painter, notable for creating abstract musical animation many decades before the appearance of computer graphics and music videos."
If you click on the Google > you get to make your own kind of abstract musical rendition of your mood this morning, and even change the musical instrument.
I had a go at it and my rendition sounded like something out of the movie "ET"
Oskar did play a part in creating the animation effects of the Blue Fairy's wand in Pinocchio.
It reminded me of playing on the chimes and triangles in my grade classes at school. Such Fun - but give it a try
I give you a lovely photograph that takes me back to a time we visited Rome, Italy and had a chance to sit alongside with Pinocchio - anyone know the place?
